Charlotte Sports Foundation partnered with title sponsor Ally Financial to inaugurate a new season opener that set the attendance record for a regular season women’s basketball game in North Carolina and averaged 548,000 viewers on ESPN platforms.

Due to its success, the multi-year partnership has been extended through 2026.

The design features a net that embodies a crown representing Charlotte and basketball royalty on the court.
