What follows is far from complete. While I typically don’t share unfinished projects, this work embodies some of the best thinking — strategically and conceptually — I have ever been a part of.

While constructing the new Nature Research Center attached to the museum, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences seized the opportunity to rebrand.

With the prominence of a publicly-accessible research center in downtown Raleigh, the museum needed to present a more modern, activated, and engaging identity. Both speaking for and to the scientists in-residence and the young, budding scientists who visit on field trips, the new logo would tell the past stories and spark the curiosity of what comes next.
